FOXM1/CENPF FISH Probe
Experimental validation shows that FOXM1 and CENPF function synergistically to promote tumor growth by coordinated regulation of target gene expression and activation of key signaling pathways associated with prostate cancer malignancy. Empire Genomics has developed a FOXM1/CENPF Fusion FISH Probe that can be used to detect translocations between the FOXM1 & CENPF genes. The probe comes labeled in orange and green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a transcriptional activator involved in cell proliferation. The encoded protein is phosphorylated in M phase and regulates the expression of several cell cycle genes, such as cyclin B1 and cyclin D1. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2011]
