PHZ-37 FISH Probe

The PHZ-37 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the PHZ-37 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary

This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel C2H2-type zinc-finger family of proteins. This encoded protein may function as a transcription factor that regulates the expression of GABA type-A receptors in the brain. Transcripts from this gene have been shown to form stable and abundant circular RNAs. Elevated expression of this gene has been observed in gastric cancer and the encoded protein may stimulate migration and invasion of human gastric cancer cells. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2016]
