NDUFC2-KCTD14 FISH Probe
The NDUFC2-KCTD14 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the NDUFC2-KCTD14 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This locus represents naturally occurring read-through transcription between the neighboring NDUFC2 (NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1, subcomplex unknown, 2, 14.5kDa) and KCTD14 (potassium channel tetramerisation domain containing 14) genes on chromosome 11. The read-through transcripts share sequence identity with the upstream gene product and one variant has a frameshifted C-terminal region derived from the downstream gene exons.
