CH211-45M15.3 FISH Probe
The CH211-45M15.3 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the CH211-45M15.3 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the malignant brain tumor (MBT) family of chromatin interacting transcriptional repressors. Members of this family function as methyl-lysine readers, which recognize methylated lysine residues on histone protein tails, and are associated with the repression of gene expression. The encoded protein may regulate hematopoiesis. Homozygous deletion of this gene has been observed in human patients with medulloblastoma. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2016]
