BAZ2B FISH Probe
The BAZ2B FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the BAZ2B gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene belongs to the bromodomain gene family. Members of this gene family encode proteins that are integral components of chromatin remodeling complexes. The encoded protein showed strong preference for the activating H3K14Ac mark in a histone peptide screen, suggesting a potential role in transcriptional activation. This gene may be associated with susceptibility to sudden cardiac death (SCD). [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2016]
