ARHGAP29 FISH Probe
The ARHGAP29 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the ARHGAP29 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
Rap1 is a small GTPase that, through effectors, regulates Rho GTPase signaling. These effectors- Rasip1, Radil, and the protein encoded by this gene- translocate to the cell membrane, where they form a multiprotein complex. This complex is necessary for Rap1-induced inhibition of Rho signaling. Defects in this gene may be a cause of nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2016]
